Homeopathy has become one of the most safest mode of treatment that helps remove the disease from the root cause of the problem. Where many health care workers term certain disease to be incurable homeopathy offers to help with its little pills to create health and wellness in a life of individual with the most safest way.
We would not have this gift called homeopathy if it was not for Dr. Samuel Hahnemann who was a German allopathic doctor. He gave up his allopathic practice as he was dissatisfied with the system of medicine then available that is when he decide to translate Materia Medica books. He came across something that change the way of medicine and he brought up the first law of homeopathy after continuous experimentation " Similia Similibus Curentur" which says like cure like.
Dr. Hahnemann brought into light various aspect of the treatment right from the nature of disease, what causes the disease, its prevention , accessory modes of treatment their role, action of the remedy. He always believed and preached that as a physician our only mission is to cure the disease as it is term restore the health and be the preserver of health.
On this world Homeopathy Day we cannot forget how much he sacrificed to heal people. Where he could enjoy the riches and be a doctor he choose to fight for what he found was true and told his people " AUDE SAPERE" which means Dare to be Wise.
Dr. Hahnemann treated thousands of difficult and chronic cases that defied the best care from allopaths all over Europe. Thus, he became so famous that physicians from Europe and America came to him for coaching in the new science and art of healing, called Homoeopathy.
Hahnemann said there are no diseases but diseased individuals. Human being is a wholesome entity where no organ of the body is affected in isolation. You have to treat the patient as a whole and the disease will be spontaneously cured. He said, treat the patient and not the disease.
Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, whose contribution for the suffering humanity has been unique. We have yet to fully comprehend some of his concepts especially regarding drug dynamization. Let us salute this man of greatest caliber who dared to think beyond his time.
